Preparations for the first Youth Olympic Games to be held in 2010 are progressing well, said the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee. The Singapore host is now moving forward in planning for sports presentation at the inaugural games that will open on the 14 August 2010

Youth Olympics Well On Track With 15 Months To Opening

Todays, 21st May 2009 Singapore Expat News come from “Yahoo Singapore“.

“SYOGOC chairman and IOC Executive Board member, Ng Ser Miang, said: “We are in the midst of venue planning to synthesize the various functional areas’ operations plans at each venue.

“This will be completed in the second half of this year as we prepare to enter the Operational Readiness Planning phase in September 2009.”

With the inaugural games 15 months away the Singapore organiser unveiled on Wednesday the Singapore 2010 sport pictograms.”
