You dropped that empty pack of cigarettes on the sidewalk and let it be, you spilled your fruit juice in the Hawker Center and the poor uncle had to clean up for you, here’s your chance to get clear with your conscience. Donate something for the poor and needy.
I myself stood in front of a huge pile of old clothes, shoes and games I neglected to take with me when I recently moved places. So I decided to donate them instead of pushing down the refuse chute.

After my first part of Singapore’s Sidewalk Rules I continue here with three more things AngryAngMo gets really angry about, when trying to get his Kopi just downstairs, fighting the Sidewalk war to survive the urban jungle. I don’t know why and how, but more and more people seem to have totally lost their complete sense of coordination, politeness and common understanding of how to behave in a moving crowd!

I quit, you quit, we get a one way ticket to Jamaica and start a laid back Beach Bar. You can serve drinks, I will be the Reggae DJ… and together we watch the sun go down over our little own paradise.
Having said that 10 years ago, I managed to do the whole “one way ticket” thing, but I ended up in an office (at least with ocean view) and play with reports now instead of Reggae music. However just for the “feeling”, I sometimes visit one of the view beach bars here in Singapore. Almost there!

I recently realized that its better not to pop the big question in Singapore. Romantic dates wont be a good thing to do in Singapore either. And if you are Single but actually you don’t want to be, ask the government, they have some romantic “scripts” and “plans” for you. This whole “romantic thing” isn’t really working out here yet.
