After over 6000 people have died and more then 200 countries confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus, the long awaited vaccination is finally ready to get deployed and used.
Singapore has received one of the first batches of available H1N1 vaccine and started already to vaccinate local people as well as foreigners.
Who Can Get The H1N1 Vaccination In Singapore?
Pretty much, everybody. There is a certain amount of H1N1 vaccines that is being given out on a priority basis to those people that registered earlier in Singapore for receiving the vaccine. However the Ministry Of Health confirmed that the amount of ordered vaccine for Singapore should be sufficient to cover the needs of all people who want to receive the vaccination.
Besides the locals, there is no exception to foreigners who are in Singapore or visit Singapore to receive the H1N1 as well. This was confirmed by Singapore’s Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan.
Are There Enough H1N1 Vaccines Available In Singapore?
Yes. The first batch of 250.000 H1N1 vaccines has been delivered to Singapore already and after being given the resp. certification to be released, the vaccines have been handed out to 18 polyclinics as well as 440 family doctor.
Furthermore there are 750.000 additional doses to be delivered to Singapore until the end of this year. This will bring the amount of available H1N1 vaccines in Singapore to 1 Million.
How Much Does The H1N1 Vaccination Cost And Where Do I Get It?
One dose of H1N1 vaccination costs 30 S$ and will make you immune for the time of 1 year. After 1 year you would need to get another vaccination to keep the immunization up.
The H1N1 vaccination is available for everyone at each of the 18 polyclinics and participating 440 family doctors.

I did my H1N1 jap at the clinic (Daily Medical Centre) at Blk 159, Hougang St 11. It is at $28 nett, very cheap and no queue. This clinic is conveniently located at the junction of Upper Paya Leba Rd and Lorong Ah Soo Rd.

My baby boy just reached 3moths , i am curious that is he also suitable to take this H1N1 Vaccine ??
