One might assume that Singapore is a country full of friendly and polite people. You can hear them apologizing the whole time. Morning till night. “Excuus”, “Scuss”, “Escuss Eh” or all of them in a volume increasing row. However adoring Singaporeans kindness and thinking about my older post on Weird Singaporean Habits, I came to question myself if an excuse in Singapore really means “Sorry”.

Alright so this is it. Two years ago I came to Singapore, two years later… I’m on sale. This is Your chance to own a “piece” of the original AngryAngMo (I can sign your pieces on request, haha, just joking)

Everything is possible. And if you think you have reached your goals, you haven’t set them high enough.
Those were my words the day i decided to join the Asian blogging scene and lift AngryAngMo.com to the top position of independent, informative and news orientated Singapore blogs.
Only half a year later I reached more then I ever dreamed of.

Writing about Singapore from a foreigners point of view, not loosing your objectivity and digging below the artificial surface is a challenging thing to do. Controversial for some and interesting for others.
But there is one thing I always wondered about. How do locals feel in a strange, new other country? What does it mean to be a Singaporean over seas? Do they experience the same that I did?

Most times I love this country, this most untypical island in the tropics with its unique character. But there are other times I desperately search for answers without any help in sight.
Answers to strange things and behavior that I want to understand for not having to complain about them anymore. For the Ang Moh most confusing, for the local not mentioning worse. Please help!
