Without doubt the House and techno community is much bigger and the HipHop scene is really more underground then anything, but there are still some good places to do the crib walk.

It is actually not a myth that around the same time when young and thirsty Sir Raffles stepped on the shores of Soon-To-Become Singapore in 1819, declaring tax haven for the sailors and pirates around the globe and being off for the first Tiger Beer the minute after, some smart soul in some small place, called Cambridge University in England, looked at the torn leather ball in the corner of his cold room, and on some dirty simple sheet of paper drafted together, what would become the rules and guidelines of soccer and how we play it till this very day.

There I was, shaking, thinking, doubting and not being sure anymore about my decisions, myself, ultimately my dreams that led to this decision, and where they brought me at this very moment. I turn my head as far as possible to the right and take a glimpse out of the window. The propellers are roaring through the thin airplane walls too loud that I could even possibly tell anyone about my skepticism. Around me are maybe ten other people, happy, joking, giving their equipments a last check and waiting for something to happen. Then suddenly outside, nothing, just gray, and seconds later we shoot above the clouds like the cold sweat is running down my back. Fast. From then, everything just .. happens.

Although the place only opened a couple of weeks back, it is already buzzing with world class restaurants offering local and international delicacies. Since Resorts World is a prime location, renowned chefs have set up their base here. The restaurants are always busy with activity and are destined to do great business even in such turbulent economic times.

It started all of with my (by now famous) post How to buy a Google Nexus Phone in Singapore after which I couldn’t resist any longer and finally ordered my own Google Nexus One in a spontaneous move of upgrading my old brick of a mobile phone. If I had only known what would follow I … well .. I didnt. So the unbelievable story of failure on Google and DHL side began. Even though not funny for me at all, I am sure you will have a blast reading it. Enjoy!
