The whole city is turned into a lightening extravaganza with zeal to light up the city’s skyline. The ambience of the place around Chinese New Year is compared to none. Since this is a multi-cultural city, the celebrations too are diverse and unique.

This funky event promises to be Singapore’s most outrageous Street Dance Party till date. It will be organized at F1 Grand Prix pit building on 20 February, 2010. The party will start at 10.15pm and continue till dawn. Space Cowboy (UK) will make his debut appearance in Singapore with this party and some great DJ tunes.
River Hong Bao Festival
Next up is the River Hong Bao Carnival 2010. It is a big public party with streets crowded and zeal of New Year. Street performances, games and fireworks are the major attractions. The best views are from the Marina Bay Floating platform and Esplanade Waterfront Promenade.
Chingay Parade is the Asia’s most grand parade with performers and visitors from across the globe. Live performances and street acrobatic shows are displayed on floats. For 2010 it will be held on 19 and 20 February from 8 PM onwards. This has become a roaring success over the years and is a must visit.
Free performances at Kreta Ayer Square, Chinatown
Next in the list is the free stage performances held at Kreta Ayer Square in Chinatown, Singapore. The events include group dances, acrobatic shows and song performances. For 2010, it will be held between 23 Jan to 13 February, 2010.
